NEW YORK American Express Financial Advisors said it has named Publicis Groupe’s Saatchi & Saatchi to handle its estimated $55 million ad account following a review.

The AmEx spin-off company will debut under a new brand name later in the year.

The New York client heard presentations in the past two weeks from WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather here (which handles AmEx’s U.S. ad business) and Interpublic Group agencies McCann Erickson, also in New York, and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston, sources said.
