4a's Scholarships Go To 18 Students At S.E. Ad Schools

Eighteen students from the Southeast’s four advertising schools will benefit from $170,000 in scholarships earmarked for multicultural students by the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ 4A’s Foundation.
The students are enrolled at the Creative Circus and the Portfolio Center, both in Atlanta, the Miami Ad School and the Adcenter at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Among those making contributions to the foundation were Adweek, Archer/Malmo, Memphis, Tenn.; Austin Kelley Advertising, Atlanta; and The William Cook Agency, Jacksonville, Fla.
The aim of the scholarship program is to increase cultural diversity in the creative departments of American advertising agencies.
