BOSTON Fallon Community Health Plan is eyeing four finalists in the review for its estimated $2-3 million account, sources said.
Two-year incumbent RDW Group of Providence, R.I., which had already said it is defending, faces off against Allen & Gerritsen, Watertown, Mass., and Clarke Goward and Connelly Partners/CGN, both in Boston, sources said. All of the contenders are independently owned.
Presentations are scheduled for Thursday and Friday; a decision is expected by July 1. The client could not immediately be reached but had previously declined to identify contenders. Agency executives either declined comment or could not be reached.
The Worcester, Mass.-based client has said it is reviewing to make sure it gets the best possible match for its business as it prepares to launch new initiatives [Adweek Online, June 12].
Fallon has been one of RDW's most visible pieces of business, with broadcast, print and billboards appearing throughout the greater Boston area. Recent ads have focused on the client's commitment to local communities and used "Where you belong" as a tagline. A TV blitz that broke in September included monochrome spots that used actual X-ray images.
