LOS ANGELES Toshiba America Information Systems has named four California finalists in the review for its $10-15 million digital-products-division advertising account, according to a company representative.
They are: Interpublic Group's McCann-Erickson and WPP's J. Walter Thompson, both in Los Angeles, and independents Ayzenberg Group in Pasadena and Matthews/Evans/Albertazzi in San Diego, the rep said.
The review includes creative and media. IPG's Temerlin McClain in Irving, Texas, last handled advertising for Toshiba computers. That relationship ended about 10 months ago. The Irvine, Calif.-based client has since restructured operations and in September formed the digital-products division, which includes products such as notebook PCs and PDAs.
Presentations have not yet been scheduled but are likely to take place in late February, the rep said.
