NEW YORK American Century, a financial investment company, is in the final stages of an agency search for its $20 million account, sources said.
Three New York shops will make final presentations to the Kansas City, Mo., client in early April, with a decision expected shortly thereafter. They are Grey Global Group's Grey, Omnicom Group's TBWA\Chiat\Day and independent Wieden + Kennedy, according to sources. No consultant is being used.
The agencies either declined to comment or could not be reached.
Independent RPA of Santa Monica, Calif., is the incumbent. The agency could not be reached for comment.
Founded in 1958, American Century manages upwards of $95 billion in assets, according to the company Web site. In January, it was named to Fortune magazine's list of 100 best employers.
