2 The Web Rebounds

Internet advertising, a black sheep after the crash, is back. The numbers and the players tell the story. Internet ad revenue is expected to top $12 billion this year, up from $9.6 billion in 2004, says the Internet Advertising Bureau. And Procter & Gamble and Anheuser-Busch are among those smitten with it. P&G spent less on TV through September than during the same period in 2004, but more than doubled its online spend in that period, to about $24 million.
