NEW YORK Zenith Media USA has restructured its media buying operations, moving veteran national TV buyer Peggy Green up to vice chairman and elevating Ava Jordhamo to evp, director of national broadcast.

In her new role, Green will oversee the push toward a more fully integrated media strategy, pulling together traditional broadcast and cable buying with nonlinear digital platforms (online, wireless, out-of-home, etc.). Green previously served as president of broadcast and entertainment at Zenith.

The Zenith realignment was prefigured by similar initiatives at corporate siblings MediaVest and Starcom, two agencies that embraced the activation approach as digital buys increasingly became part of the fabric of linear TV deals.
