BOSTON Three finalists remain in Expedia.com's review of its advertising account, the online travel services company said today. Estimated billings are $170 million.

Interpublic Group's Mullen in Wenham, Mass., Omnicom Group's TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa del Rey, Calif., and independent Doner in Southfield, Mich., have advanced.

Cut from contention were WPP Group's Berlin Cameron United and IPG's McCann Erickson, both in New York, per sources.

An Expedia representative said final presentations are scheduled "in the next few weeks," with a decision coming as soon as month's end.

Expedia has parted with IPG's Deutsch/LA in Marina del Rey, Calif., which handled both creative and media for the client since its inception seven years ago [Adweek Online, May 18].

The agency's recent ads for Expedia have been tagged, "Enjoy your trip."

Sources said the decision to hold a review was based at least in part on the company's recent lackluster financial performance.
