They’re still working, but not as much as they’d like to be. While rising unemployment has garnered attention in recent months, a report issued in December by the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics notes an increase in the number of what it calls “involuntary part-time workers” — i.e., people who want full-time jobs but work less than 35 hours a week due to a reduction in their hours or an inability to find a full-time job.
