NEW YORK Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson has won creative duties on Verizon Wireless’ estimated $300 million ad account.

The decision came after final presentations on Monday from McCann in New York and Havas-owned Arnold in Boston. McCann has been the temporary steward on the account since the client split with IPG’s Lowe in February.

Boston consultancy Pile and Co. managed the review process and confirmed McCann’s selection.

Client and agency executives could not immediately be reached.

Media duties, handled by Publicis Groupe’s Zenith Media, were not in play.
