Vanguard Taps Juxt Interactive

NEW YORK -- Vanguard University of Southern California, a Christian liberal arts and sciences school, has chosen Juxt Interactive to redesign its Web site following a review.

"Our goal is to take our offline brand and bring it online. We don't want to copy what's in print, but we want the same feel and flavor to it," said Andrew Kenney, the college?s webmaster, who steered the review.

"Vanguard is looking for a more engaging, representative Web presence that will appeal to a broad group of constituents," said Josh Mooney, partner and director of business development at Juxt.

The new Web site, which is expected to launch in August, will target students, parents, alumni, donors and potential supporters of the 82-year-old Costa Mesa, Calif. school. The original site (http://www.vanguard.edu/) was designed inhouse two years ago.
