Whether the market has hit bottom or not is debatable, but at least one financial services firm is trying to persuade consumers that now is the time to start reinvesting.

TIAA-CREF, which provides retirement systems for people in the academic and medical fields, among others, has launched a new TV spot that airs some of consumers’ concerns about the market.

The spot features a worm’s eye shot of some skyscrapers and a blue, partly cloudy sky, and text that reads: “Are you” and then a volley of words appears including “perplexed,” “nervous,” “sullen” and “resentful.”
