LOS ANGELES Supervalu is in talks with at least one undisclosed agency and is expected to soon announce that it is parting with Dailey & Associates, the Interpublic Group-owned shop it hired in late 2006 to handle its $85 million grocery business, according to sources.

Agency and client officials declined comment on Friday. Sources said the decision to shift the work could be made public as soon as today or early next week.

West Hollywood, Calif.-based Dailey added creative, media and planning chores for Supervalu’s Albertsons, Acme, Jewel-Osco and Shaw’s/Star Market in September 2006.
