Subway Restaurants has partnered with Univision Radio to sponsor the radio network’s 2010 concert series, with a twist. Subway will sponsor an opening act performance at each of Univision’s three major shows, slated to take place in the second, third and fourth quarters of the year.

The first show will take place in May in New York. The artists have yet to be confirmed.

The Subway deal also includes the launch of a site called “Subway Artistas Frescos” (“Subway Fresh Face Artists”) where fans are asked to upload videos of their rendition of the Subway jingle, a hip-hop ditty that’s been featured in Subway’s Spanish-language television ads since 2008.
