Subaru Hires Marketing VP

DETROIT Subaru of America has named Rick Crosson to the position of marketing vice president, replacing Mark Darling who the company said left to pursue other industry-related business opportunities.

Crosson is currently regional vice president at Subaru’s central region office in Aurora, Col. In his new position he will be based at Subaru’s headquarters in Cherry Hill, N.J., and will report to evp Fred Adcock effective, Feb. 3.

He will work with Temerlin McClain, Irving, Texas, which handles creative, media planning and print media buying, and Universal McCann, Dallas, which handles broadcast media buying.
