StrawberryFrog Brazil has named Mauro Perez its first chief creative officer, to help oversee a growing client portfolio and team, the Sao Paolo outpost has announced.
It's something of a return to the agency world for Perez, who worked at Brazilian shop Talent until 2001 before leaving to travel and later starting a small projects-based shop in 2006, according to StrawberryFrog Brazil CEO Alexandre Peralta. Perez will report to Peralta, and oversee all 27 creative and production staff—including two creative directors—at the 80-person office.
“After StrawberryFrog Brazil grew 47 percent last year, we started 2011 with significant new businesses like the prestigious Pirelli account,” said Peralta. “We have been growing and growing. With the World Cup and the Olympics coming to Brazil, the market is expanding incredibly.”
Other StrawberryFrog Brazil clients include PepsiCo and Quaker.
