BOSTON The Cable & Telecommunica-
tions Association for Marketing has tapped MDC Partners-backed Source Marketing as its lead promotional shop.

Our recent successful experience with retail-oriented promotions has encouraged us to take our marketing strategy to the next level," said Seth Morrison, senior vice president of marketing for CTAM.
Westport, Conn.-based Source will craft a promotional campaign set to break next month. The effort will tie into the industry's "Only cable can" initiative.
"As the battle for the cable customer heats up, cable companies need to get closer to the consumer where they make their purchasing decisions to communicate the benefits of cable," said Catherine Gordon, senior vice president of Source Marketing.
Source Marketing's client roster includes JP Morgan Chase, Castrol, Mattel, AT&T and AOL.
