NEW YORK MDC Partners’ Cliff Freeman and Partners has added creative chores on Cadbury Schweppes’ Snapple account without a review, the client has confirmed. Estimated billings are $10-15 million.

The brand’s advertising had been at Interpublic Group’s Deutsch in New York since 1997. Deutsch retains public relations duties for the brand.

The move arises from what sources said was a prior familiarity with Cliff Freeman by Cadbury Schweppes’ new executive vice president of marketing, Randy Gier, who joined the company in March from Yum! Brands, where he helmed marketing for Pizza Hut.
