SMG Canada Taps CEO

Bruce Neve to start next month

Starcom MediaVest Group's new CEO for Canada is a veteran of that market, having spent nearly 15 years at MEC Canada, most recently as president.

At SMG Canada, Bruce Neve will oversee 160 staffers at a Toronto office that Starcom and MediaVest share. He starts May 30 and will report to Iain Jacob, president of dynamic markets.

SMG's top clients in the country include Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, Kellogg’s and TD Bank. 

Neve fills a vacancy left by the late 2010 exit of Lauren Richards. In December, Richards became CEO of Media Experts in Toronto
