CHICAGO Sears, Roebuck and Co.'s new chief marketing officer Janine Bousquette heard presentations this week on new brand strategies from Chicago roster shops Young & Rubicam and Ogilvy & Mather.
The presentations for the Hoffman Estates, Ill., retailer center around a strategy that spotlights Sears clothing offerings, sources said.
The "Sears. Where Else?" campaign may also be changed, sources said.
Y&R's team includes Jim Ferguson, chief creative officer, New York, Stephanie Kugelman, worldwide strategic officer and Mark Figliulo, chief creative officer, Chicago. Ogilvy's team includes Rick Boyko, outgoing North American chief creative officer and Joe Sciarrotta, executive creative director in Chicago, sources said
