CHICAGO — Sears, Roebuck and Co.’s senior vice president of marketing David Selby is leaving the retailer Oct. 15, the company said.

Taking over Selby’s duties is Janine Bousquette, 41, who was named to the new position of executive vice president and chief customer and marketing officer, a Sears representative said. Bousquette reports to Alan Lacy, Sears’ chairman and chief executive officer.

Bousquette most recently was running her own consulting practice in Los Angeles.
