BOSTON Brian Crooks has been named creative director of the interactive division of independent marketing agency Ryan Partnership. Crooks succeeds Rick Lavoie, who has left the shop.

Crooks most recently served for three years as a CD and group creative leader in the Boston office of Agency.com. He has also held creative posts at Digitas, Young & Rubicam, Grey and Mezzina/Brown.

Crooks is a good fit for Wilton, Conn.-based Ryan Partnership because his experience spans traditional advertising, direct and interactive marketing, said Christine Nardi, president of business development at the shop.
