Matt Ryan and Lee Garfinkel, the business/creative duo managing Euro RSCG’s pitch for ExxonMobil, are now assuming leadership roles in the shop's New York office.

Ryan, president of global brands, and Garfinkel, chief creative officer for global brands, now also are co-chairmen of New York. Garfinkel, 55, joined the Havas agency in January; Ryan, 50, has spent three years there

The move comes as Euro RSCG seeks to maintain and expand its global ExxonMobil relationship. The Havas shop is among three creative incumbents competing in the global creative and media review; the others are DDB and McCann Erickson.
