The Republik Adds DunnWell
DURHAM, N.C. Independent shop The Republik here said it has added DunnWell, a Gardner, N.C.-based provider of fire-prevention and related facilities safety services, to its roster without a review.
Print, Web site development and online/offline direct marketing are primed for a September launch as the client attempts to reach corporations that maintain hundreds of storefronts nationwide.
Despite a modest marketing budget -- likely less than $1 million -- DunnWell nonetheless represents a chance for The Republik to essentially introduce the company in a wide-ranging b-to-b campaign on a sizable stage, said agency exec Dwayne Fry.
Joe Dunn, client CEO, added: "We are preparing to expand into new vertical markets. We felt it was crucial to get an outside agency's expertise to help us distill our existing, industry-specific brand message into something with broader, and more breakthrough, appeal."
The Republik caused a stir a few weeks ago with its offbeat (some said offensive) outreach campaign for longtime client Fayetteville, N.C. That push included videos tha showed, among things, an elderly woman with a walker carrying a U.S. soldier across the street on her back.
