NEW YORK Rapp Collins Worldwide has hired WestWayne’s Scott Hagedorn as senior vice president, chief interactive officer.

In the newly created post, Hagedorn, 34, will lead the Omnicom Group shop’s 45-person interactive staff in Dallas, New York, Los Angeles and Seattle. (Interactive employees previously reported to the managing director of each office.)

He will oversee Rapp Collins’ digital new business efforts in North America and development of online components of integrated programs for clients like SunTrust Banks, DirecTV and Hyatt Hotels.
