ATLANTA The Titan Network has hired Ron Ramos as vice president of advertising, a move that adds Hispanic marketing to the shop's offerings, the agency said.
Ramos, 40, has been operating his own Hispanic marketing agency, Dreamads in Atlanta, for the past three years. He plans to close the shop by the end of the year and add several of the employees to his staff at independent Titan in Atlanta, he said.
He also is a former vice president and director of creative services at Miramar Communications Group of Puerto Rico, an independent shop that specializes in Hispanic marketing. Ramos was with the agency for 11 years, seven in Puerto Rico and the last four in Miami. He also has worked in the Puerto Rico offices of Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi and Foote Cone & Belding.
"Ron is a quadruple threat," said Tony DeMartino, Titan's CEO. "He is one of those rare talents in the industry who has expertise in both mainstream and Hispanic marketing and in both creative and account services."
Ramos joins Gus Pitsikoulis, the shop's chief creative officer, Mike Dickie, senior vice president of strategic marketing, and DeMartino as the executive staff of the shop's advertising department.
