DALLAS RadioShack confirmed today that it has put the creative portion of its $250 million global account into review.

The company’s in-house agency, the Circle R Group, will continue to perform some support functions following the review’s completion, but it will not compete, said company representative Kay Jackson.

Fort Worth, Texas-based RadioShack has hired Dallas-based consultant Cindy Kenyon to helm a 10-week review process.

The review follows the departure of chief brand officer Jim McDonald in mid-January. “We are swiftly transforming ourselves into a customer-driven organization,” said chief marketing officer Don Carroll, who replaced McDonald.
