Press, 46, spearheaded just such a promotion last May while serving as CMO at SHVO, a global real estate sales firm that launched Nurai, a development off the coast of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
 
The experience reinforced his belief — developed in 18 years at WPP Group’s Grey, including a decade as a top exec at its G2 promotions and design unit, which he helped found — that “the ‘big idea’ isn’t necessarily about advertising.”
