Deutsch has promoted agency partner Anush Prabhu to the new role of chief channel planning and investment officer in New York, following the exit last week of chief media officer Peter Gardiner.

Prabhu will lead a team in charge of communications planning, media planning and buying and data strategy.

Previously, Prabhu was director of insights and communications planning. He joined the Interpublic Group agency in last year from Mcgarrybowen, where he had been managing director, communications planning and analytics.

Before mcgarrybowen, Prabhu was a group planning head at JWT, where he started an analytics group and co-directed communications planning.
