Gyro may be one of the biggest business-to-business advertising agencies, but it doesn’t always act like one. This summer, for cloud-technology company Turn, the agency hired Michael Lehmann, a director whose Hollywood credits include True Blood, Californication and Heathers, to shoot a commercial that ran during Mad Men—definitely not the stuff of your typical trade campaign. Gyro boasts 17 offices in 10 countries and clients including Audi, FedEx and L’Oréal and, as Gyro expands into the consumer space, marketers like Lincoln Financial Group and Virgin Atlantic.
