The business began 25 years ago with a kids' meal calendar assignment from Sonic. Today, the shop employs 48 staffers, has global reach and makes an estimated $40 million in annual revenue from the likes of Sonic , Arby's and Darden Restaurants. Scrutiny of kids marketing has intensified since Bob Cutler started the business in his Overland Park, Kan., home. But to him, the basics haven't changed: Create experiences that bring kids and parents close together.
