DALLAS Pest control specialist Orkin is expected to name finalists this week as it searches for a new interactive agency, sources said.

The client is now mulling six undisclosed semifinalists for the assignment, which is estimated at $3-5 million, per sources.

Incumbent RMG Connect is not defending, sources said.

Bedford Consulting Group of Atlanta is managing the search. Executives at the consultancy could not immediately be reached for comment.

The winning agency will be tasked with redesigning Orkin's Web site, among other projects.

Based in Atlanta, Orkin was founded more than a century ago. It now operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rollins Inc., employs 7,500 staffers and maintains 400 locations nationwide.

The review comes two months after the arrival of Rob Crigler as Orkin's director of interactive marketing.

Crigler previously led search-engine optimization at i-shop Avenue A/Razorfish.
