In the effectiveness role, Wong succeeds his mentor, Tim Broadbent, who held that position since 2009 before succumbing to cancer over the summer. In the new job, which Wong starts Jan. 4, he is tasked with finding more efficient ways for Ogilvy to work with key clients and deliver effective communications.
