Royce Yuen, chairman of WPP’s Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong, will shift to a new role as executive director of beauty and health group Fancl.

Yuen, who rejoined Ogilvy in 2003 after a role as executive director of the HK Futures Exchange, has been responsible for running the group’s Hong Kong operation. He has also served as chairman of the local ad industry association since 2005.

As executive director of Fancl, a Japan-headquartered group, he will work to take the brand global.

“I’m taking up a different challenge by joining the client side,” he said.
