A new week brings another CCO appointment at Havas' Euro RSCG network.

Jason Peterson takes the chief creative role at the agency's 250-person Chicago office, reporting to Ron Bess, who is CEO of that operation and president of overall North American operations.

Peterson (pictured) had been at Interpublic Group-owned Translation in New York as ecd, overseeing work for McDonald's, Target, State Farm and Wrigley.

Steffan Postaer, Euro RSCG Chicago CCO for the past six years, retains the title of chairman. (Blake Ebel, who was co-CCO for a time, left in July for Factory Design Labs in Denver.)

"Jason has done some great work for some of the country's biggest brands. But what really attracted us to him was that he represents the future of creativity. He understands the new dynamic that digital and social media have brought to our clients and I believe he can motivate our creative teams to come up with future-focused, big ideas in this space," said Bess, in a statement.

Euro RSCG's key Chicago clients include Citigroup, Sears, Kraft, Blockbuster and Sprint.

Last week, Euro RSCG named Al Kelly CCO of its New York flagship.
