Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Boston has launched a dedicated design practice called Superfine (the shop’s original name was Superfine Productions) and hired Kevin Grady as svp and director of the unit. He hails from Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he held a similar position.

Under the auspices of Superfine, Grady (pictured)  will now work on efforts for key Mullen clients such as JetBlue, Zappos, Panera Bread, Hoodoo Spirits, Olympus, Swiss Army and Timberland. He is expected to hire three or four designers in the next year to build up the practice.
