MSNBC Buys BreakingNews.com URL
MSNBC.com has acquired the rights to the URL BreakingNews.com.
The site, currently in beta, aggregates a continuous stream of headlines from news venues across the globe and drives traffic to those properties. The site does not feature any original content. Until recently the URL had been owned by Breaking News Network.
MSNBC.com has yet to announce any plans to change BreakingNews.com’s format.
Last month, the news site took control of the BreakingNews.com Twitter feed, which claims close to 1.6
