NEW YORK MoneyGram International is sending Hispanic and African-American consumers a message of financial empowerment via a multiplatform global campaign launching this week from Interpublic Group-owned DraftFCB.

Aimed largely at U.S. ethnic groups, including immigrants who live in the United States and who send money overseas and domestic consumers who send money within the 50 states, the effort is intended to position the brand as an accessible option for handling personal finances and money transfer needs, per the agency.
