BOSTON Mintz & Hoke has launched an online promotional effort for Mohegan Sun that includes a revamped Web site and e-mail newsletter.

The monthly opt-in newsletter promotes the casino’s offerings and gives people a chance to win prizes, such as cash or a free night at the resort.

“Our philosophy on e-mail promotions is [that] we really like to see a promotion that supports the brand in its message and delivers something of value to the recipient,” said Eulah Sheffield, vp and director of interactive services at the Avon, Conn.
