Viacom’s Paramount station group has assigned MMT, a Cox Enterprises rep firm, to handle national sales for Paramount’s 10 major-market TV stations, an executive involved in the deal said.

The value of the agreement, taking effect Aug. 13, was not disclosed, but MMT President Jack Oken characterized it as “significant.”

The Paramount stations — corporate siblings of the CBS Station Group and previously represented by Katz’s Millennium sales group — include UPN affiliates in Atlanta (WUPA), Seattle (KSTW), and Houston (KTXH).
