NEW YORK -- Christopher Miles has left Leo Burnett, where he was svp and group account director on that agency's Delta Air Lines business, to join DDB New York as worldwide group account director for the Hershey Foods business.

Last month, DDB was awarded the creative accounts for Hershey Chocolate Bar and its almond version, as well as Hershey Miniatures and Hershey Nuggets, an estimated $30 million in new business, sources said. This is in addition to the other Hershey's brands DDB continues to handle: Twizzlers, York, Kit Kat and Hershey's syrup.

Miles will take on many of the responsibilities formerly held by Peter Tate, evp, who retires at the end of the year. He had been at Leo Burnett since 1987, where, in addition to Delta, he worked on United Distillers & Vintners and Coca-Cola as well as 7-Up, Glad Bags and Wrap.
