Midland Assigns Account to NourzAds

DALLAS NourzAds has been awarded the advertising account of Midland Development Corp., the organization charged with attracting business to the West Texas city, the shop said.

The Austin, Texas, agency won the creative and media account following a review with undisclosed contenders, according to agency account supervisor Suzanne Kyba. There was no incumbent.

NourzAds has been charged with providing account planning, interactive and traditional media buying and creative development of Web-based print and direct mail campaigns. The creative will target corporations nationwide and position Midland as a community endowed with the resources and infrastructure needed to ensure business success, the agency said.

"Midlanders are very dedicated to smart, calculated growth," said John James, president of MDC. "We chose NourzAds because of the agency's commitment to creativity, and creativity is what matters most when you are trying to distinguish yourself from the competitors."

The first national campaign is scheduled to break this summer and will run indefinitely, Kyba said. Annual billings are undisclosed.
