Michael Hayes, president of digital communications at Initiative, has left the company.

Effective July 1, Hayes joins UberMedia as the company's new chief revenue and marketing officer. Hayes spent the last nine years at Initiative, overseeing the U.S.-based digital campaigns for brands ranging from Bayer to Miller/Coors to Dr. Pepper and Hyundai.

Hayes will now look to tackle the fast-growing but still immature mobile ad space. UberMedia claims to blend the power of social ads with the inherent local nature of mobile devices.
