MGM Interactive’s first-ever foray into national broadcast advertising begins with a TV spot that pays homage to those cheesy but lovable used car dealer ads.
The 30-second spot, created by WongDoody’s Santa Monica, Calif., office, launches the multimedia publisher’s new WarGames video game for the Sony PlayStation. The spot will air on national cable networks including Comedy Central. MGM Interactive has previously run only print ads for its games, and the $5 million WarGames campaign also includes a print component.
