NEW YORK Mercedes-Benz owners are the focal point of a new campaign from Merkley + Partners that uses photographs to convey the bond between owners and their cars.

The effort, which breaks next week, features TV spots, print ads and online banners. The client spends about $140 million annually on ads.

The ads depict smiling owners posing with their cars. Many stand in front of or next to their cars, but some are seated on the hood or behind the wheel.
