MediaVest USA was named the general market media agency for TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation, effective immediately. The assignment includes both media buying and strategic planning for TD Ameritrade’s retail business in the U.S., targeting active traders and long-term investors.

In 2007, TD Ameritrade spent $145 million on advertising in the U.S., according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus, but that figure includes both the retail and institutional portions of its business.

The previous media agency was Mediaedge:cia.
