Pam Zucker has been promoted to the new role of president, marketplace ignition and innovation at MediaVest USA, effective immediately, the Publicis Groupe-owned shop has confirmed. She continues to report to Donna Speciale, the shop's president of investment and activation.
In her new role, Zucker will serve as a strategic consultant to all of the agency's clients and lead various special initiatives. Zucker will also have a management role in MediaVest's research and business development disciplines, and continue her oversight of MediaVest's global Avon assignment and its advanced TV practice.
"From discovering new ways to drive and measure consumer engagement to catalyzing internal, next-generation leadership programs like MediaVest's Impact Circle, the defining element of Pam's career has been effecting real-time change across the industry," said Bill Tucker, the agency's U.S. CEO. Now, he said, "Pam will have an even greater platform to drive meaningful transformation in media."
Previously, Zucker was director of broadcast investment for MediaVest's Procter & Gamble account. She has also served clients such as Mars and Coca-Cola, and worked internationally, most notably leading MediaVest's Russia office in 1993, just after the fall of the Soviet Union.
Zucker, the sister of NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker, joined MediaVest in 1989.
