MEC Taps Eller for Marketing, Biz Development

WPP’s Mediaedge:cia has appointed Stephanie Eller managing director, marketing and business development, a new senior position at the agency.

In that role, Eller will play a pivotal role in the agency’s global new business efforts. Eller will be based in New York and report to North American CEO Lee Doyle.

Eller joins MEC from Publicis Groupe’s MediaVest, where she was svp, director of business development and marketing. Earlier, she was worldwide executive development director at WPP’s design company Fitch, responsible for clients such as P&G, J&J, Walmart and Coca-Cola.

“I’m confident that Stephanie’s extensive experience in new business development for media and design agencies, as well as marketing strategy expertise on the client side, will bring valuable perspective to our business development efforts,” said Doyle, commenting on the hire.
