Adam Levine's on-again, off-again pursuit of new business is on again.
The veteran account and business development chief who has worked at DDB, Draftfcb and most recently Deutsch, has filled the chief marketing officer opening at McKinney.
Although McKinney is based in Durham, N.C., Levine will continue to live in New York, where he has spent his entire career and where McKinney has an office. He'll use that office as a hub but spend about half his time in Durham, at least initially.
McKinney, whose top accounts include Nationwide, Travelocity and Samsung, had been seeking a business development leader since Michael Densmore left for Bartle Bogle Hegarty in May.
