WPP’s Maxus has named Martin Lawson to the new position of global data and insights director.

Lawson, who is based in London, will report to Maxus global CEO Kelly Clark and the shop’s U.K. CEO Lindsay Weedon.

Lawson is the latest in a series of senior hires at the agency, a unit of WPP’s GroupM management arm. In July, the agency named Alan Hodge to the new post of global trading chief and in June Helen Snowdon joined as worldwide director of marketing.
